“Make all you can; can all you make,” I once heard a pastor quip during a sermon. That was never better advice than when it comes to food security. Cuz what’s the best way to eliminate food waste? Eat it, of course! But first, give it to No Hunger NOLA’s Alyssa Hernandez and Matt Holland who will make it into a pickle or some jam. We may have had Matt talking into the back of the microphone, but that didn’t stop us from noticing he had a great voice for radio. Miraculously, he’s also the first guest to make that joke.
